Remove those @eaDir folders from your XBMC Photo Library once and for all

There are lots of posts about the annoying '@eaDir' directories that are created when you use NFS on the Synology NAS. I've written about deleting them but unfortunately they end up coming back as they are part of the Synology indexing service.

Sharing Google Calendars in iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

An excellent guide that assisted me with sharing a Google calendar between my iPhone and my wife's. The secret sauce is logging on to https://m.google.com/sync/settings/ from the mobile you want the shared calendar on, not from a PC/Mac browser. Transfer text messages from IOS6 to Android (4.04)

I followed this post but it's now outdated if you use IOS5> as the iSMS2droid app no longer works with IOS5/6 . Instead, upload your SMS database recovered from your PC/Mac by following the blog post but then using the form halfway down this webpage convert it to a XML formatted version which can be imported using SMS Backup & Restore.
