If you have a PhoneBaby 5S like I do and either want to clean the Trojans from it or freeze/uninstall rogue apps using Titanium Backup Pro, you'll need to root your phone. Unfortunately, there is practically no data available on these devices running Chinese firmware so it was trial and error to try and get root access.
