Sharing photos in iTunes (>11) with your Apple TV

1. In iTunes, go to File > Home Sharing > Turn On Home Sharing. 2. Enter your iTunes username and password and click “Turn on Home Sharing 3. Click Done

4. Go to File > Home Sharing > Choose Photos to Share with Apple TV… 5. Choose either “All folders” or at least one from your list if you choose “Selected folders 6. Go to Edit > Preferences > Sharing and check “Share my library on my local network” and then choose what to share (in addition to your photos)

7. On Apple TV, choose Computers > Turn On Home Sharing.
8. Enter the same Apple ID and password you entered on your computer(s) and choose Done.

You should now be able to browse your Photos and anything else you shared by going to the main menu on the Apple TV and then choose  “Computers

My Notepad++ tricks when editing YAML files in Home Assistant

To comment out a whole section in one go: Highlight the text you want to comment out and use CTRL + Q. If you do this at the start of a line, it will only comment that line. CTRL + Q is toggle mode (comment on/off). CTRL + K will allow you to add multiple comments one after the other.
